Can I receive continuing education credits through your programs?

MusicWorx Inc. is an approved provider for continuing education with the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT).

Board-Certified Music Therapists can accrue continuing education credits to maintain their certification. In order to fulfill recertification requirements, the certificant must have completed all continuing education credits by the last day of the fifth year of the cycle. The Recertification Manual outlines all continuing education credits and required documentation.

Certificants may pursue recertification by accruing 100 recertification credits during the five-year recertification cycle.

How do I access my course completion certificate?

To access your course completion certificate from MusicWorx Academy, follow these general steps or guidelines:

1. Log into Your Account: Access your MusicWorx Academy account using your login credentials on our website.

2. Navigate to Your Course Dashboard: Once logged in, go to your course dashboard where you can see your enrolled courses.

3. Select the Completed Course: Locate the course you have completed from your list of courses.

Can I get a refund for a course?

According to our continuing education policies and procedures, if you find a Music Therapy & Wellness Hub Course to be unsatisfactory, you may contact MusicWorx Inc. within 14 days of receipt to request a refund. Contact [email protected] for more information.

Do I need to be a board-certified music therapist to participate?

You do not need to be a board-certified music therapist to participate in all offerings at MusicWorx Academy. While some of our advanced courses and specialized training manuals, like the AudAbility® Toolbox, are particularly suited for board-certified music therapists and students,, we also offer resources and workshops designed for a broader audience, including care partners and those interested in music-based wellness strategies.
